Albert was born on the 22nd November 1885 in Llanelli.
During WWI he served in the London Fusiliers but was invalided out in 1915.
He was a partner in Maliphant and Hughes, coal factors in Swansea Docks – a company which was dissolved during the 1920-1930 depression.
In 1938 he joined his brother George Stephen [##46012] at Llanelli Sheet Mills making Anderson shelter sections.
Albert’s son Michael David(?) [##47025] emigrated to Australia in 1954 and Albert visited him in Port Kembla, NSW, Australia in 1957.
He returned there in 1967 taking up residence at Wollogongong, NSW, where he died in 1968.
